Hooray for the Red, White, and Blue! Independence Day at Eleven Gables!

I love holidays! I especially love showing my patriotism on Independence Day. Our home seems like it was designed specifically for the Fourth of July.  It shows off the red, white, and blue perfectly.

Flags make a beautiful and colorful statement by being grouped together.  I buy them in bulk HERE and save them from year to year.  That, my friends, is cheaper than flowers!

This Bunting makes a patriotic statement hanging on the eaves of the front porch.

We love to gather with friends and family to celebrate our country's freedom.  I give each child one of THESE flags to take home as a souvenir.

The flagpole is original to the house.  It is an honor to wave the stars and stripes. 

The bunting is attached with these hooks that I leave up year-round.

Even when it is raining, the stars and stripes look pretty.

The porches got an updated bunting this year!  

I bought THIS and cut it to fit.

The girls want in on the action.

One of my favorite tablescapes of all time!  I used THIS tablecloth, THIS table topper, THESE napkins, dishes from The Enchanted Home, and a similar LARGE Blue and White Bowl.

I just had to set up a little table with photo props and my boys were sweet enough to pose for me!

Thank you, boys, for smiling.  I miss this age!
